God wants us to experience the blessings that come from being generous.  In order for His generosity to be seen in our lives, we must be a generous people.   According to Acts 20:35, it’s more blessed to give than to receive.  As we look at the churches in Macedonia (2 Corinthians 8:1-2), we see how the grace of God was upon them during troubled times.  They first gave
themselves to the Lord, then because of their generous outpouring of offerings and gifts, the people prospered and were full of joy.

We are stewards over God’s kingdom, and we must be found faithful.  Being generous is a manifestation of your righteousness.  Apostles Tony and Cynthia Brazelton teach us that our giving is a way to thank God for all He has done.  They also remind us that we are blessed to
be a blessing and there is an anointing on each of us to prosper.  Trust God when He says to give.  Trust Him to take care of you.  God is looking for that generous spirit in you.
